Katherine completed her Bachelors Degree at St. Catherine’s University in 2004 and went on to complete her Masters Degree at Bethel University in 2006 and earned her Doctoral Degree from Argosy University in 2013.
Katherine completed her pre and post Doctoral Internships at the Neighborhood Involvement Program in Minneapolis, providing therapy and support to individuals with varying mental health concerns and traumatic backgrounds including physical, psychological and sexual abuse. Over the course of Katherine’s training she has gained experience in providing forensic, empirically-supported assessments for adults using objective, projective, risk, intelligence, personality and actuarial instruments for comprehensive psychological evaluations.
Katherine’s approach to providing therapy and assessment is influenced by her goal of smoothly integrating assessment results, clinical interviews, and clinical judgment while translating this information into evidenced-based practice or recommendations for addressing individual concerns or behaviors. She believes achieving a therapeutic alliance with each individual she works with is of utmost importance and she aims to tailor her treatment approaches to each individual in order to prioritize and address concerns and behaviors.
In her spare time, Katherine enjoys spending time outside going for walks, spending time with her family and friends, and traveling.
